The Art in Public Places gallery at the Visitor Center has been touched with magic this season. RC Ewell’s month-long exhibit was a huge success! Mr. Ewell paints scenes from the Backstretch of the racetrack with subtly and sensitivity. His watercolors draw you into the world of the many who make racing at Saratoga possible — the people who train, groom, and care for the majestic thoroughbreds.

This month, yet another keen eye is reflected in the work of Michael Weitzman. “The Best of the Best” features exquisite photographs set out to capture the abundant beauty that surrounds us all. Whether it be a rare butterfly or late day reflections of sunlight on the Schroon River, Michael Weitzman seeks to draw the viewer in. Visceral, colorful and magical work!
