Every September in Historic Congress Park, this weekend event commemorates our involvement in the Civil War by staging a two-day encampment. A living history experience, with re-enactors portraying life in a Civil War soldiers camp featuring hands-on historic displays and camp life situations. Guest speakers, music, arts and crafts, and many Civil War and military displays are all part of this free, educational, fun-filled weekend.
